Duck button cover copper tripod
1971年,在铜陵市火车站基建工地上出土了一件青铜器，这件青铜器通高27.1厘米，口径13.9厘米，平盖上塑有一鸟，昂首直立。整座鼎器精巧玲珑，造型生动活泼，一改殷、商、周鼎的沉重威严的风格，是春秋晚期南方青铜器的典型代表之作。
In 1971, a bronze ware was unearthed at the construction site of Tongling Railway Station. The bronze passage was 27.1 cm high and 13.9 cm in diameter. On the flat cover, a bird was sculpted and stood upright. The whole tripod is exquisite and exquisite, lively in shape, changing the heavy and dignified style of Yin, Shang and Zhou Ding. It is a typical representative work of Southern bronzes in late Spring and Autumn Period.
最初，这件精美的青铜器被铜陵地方文物管理专家称之为鸟盖兽耳盉，是为乳名；后被安徽省博物馆收藏，称鸟纽铜盖鼎，算作小名；文革初期，全国各地许多文化古迹遭到严重破环。1971年“9.13”事件后，周恩来总理主持了中央工作，对文物和文化古迹的保护起到了一定的作用。国家为此发行了一套《出土文物》邮票，宣传中华民族悠久的历史和灿烂文化，也告诉人们要继承和保护祖国珍贵的古代文化遗产。全套邮票12枚，由吴建坤设计，北京邮票厂印制，1973年11月发行。这套邮票设计之精美，规格之庞大，至今仍不失为中国文物邮票的佳作。其中，有一枚邮票名字叫《鸭纽盖铜鼎》（春秋公元前770—公元前475），与铜陵出土的青铜器——鸟纽铜盖鼎一致。于是，鸭纽盖铜鼎成了她的学名，也就是大名。
Initially, this exquisite bronze ware was called "bird-covered animal earcup" by local cultural relics management experts in Tongling, which is the nickname. Later, it was collected by Anhui Museum and called "bird-button-covered copper tripod" as a nickname. At the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, many cultural monuments throughout the country were severely damaged. After the September 13 incident in 1971, Premier Zhou Enlai presided over the central work and played a certain role in the protection of cultural relics and historical sites. The state issued a set of "unearthed cultural relics" stamps to publicize the long history and splendid culture of the Chinese nation, and also told people to inherit and protect the precious ancient cultural heritage of the motherland. The set of 12 stamps, designed by Wu Jiankun and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory, was issued in November 1973. This set of stamps is exquisite in design and huge in specifications. It is still a masterpiece of Chinese cultural relics stamps. Among them, there is a stamp named "Duck Nugget Covered Copper Ding" (770 - 475 B.C. in the Spring and Autumn Period), which coincides with the bronze ware "Bird Nugget Covered Ding" unearthed in Tongling. Thus, Duck Newgate Copper Ding became her scientific name, that is, the name.
